Our Story: Where Faith and Justice Meet
It all started in a college classroom.
As a social work student, I remember sitting in a supervision session where I was told that, in order to effectively help those in need, I would have to set aside my Christian identity. That moment struck a deep chord in me. Why is it that people assume Christians don’t care about those on the margins? Why should faith and compassion be seen as mutually exclusive?
Those questions launched a journey to deeply explore what it truly means to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8). What I discovered is that our faith doesn’t hinder the work of justice and reconciliation—it fuels it.
Together, with Carissa and our team, we are committed to helping faith-based communities live out their calling with boldness, humility, and cultural awareness. Our work is rooted in the belief that you don’t have to abandon your biblical convictions to engage a diverse and complex world, you just need the right tools and heart posture.
